All online orders are packed and dispatched from our Fabric Box store in Morningside, Auckland, New Zealand - usually within 1-3 business days of placing your order.

While we don’t have a Fabric Box home in Australia just yet, we’re getting your goodies to you via Australia Post, managed through NZ Post. Your parcel will zip through a NZ Post depot in NSW (so don’t be surprised if that shows as the sender on your label).

You can track your parcel’s journey anytime via the NZ Post website.

We’re bringing Fabric Box love across the ditch! Here’s what to expect:

If you’re not home when your parcel arrives, our couriers have Authority to Leave - so they’ll leave it somewhere safe if they can. No good spot? They’ll leave a Card to Call so you can arrange redelivery.

Need a signature on delivery? Just pop a note in the Notes box at checkout or send us an email right after you order.

Using a PO Box or Parcel Locker? No worries - Australia Post can deliver to both. Just be sure to make this clear when entering your shipping address.

A Quick Heads-Up on Customs
If your order is over AUD $1,000, it might attract duties and taxes - that’s Aussie customs law! These charges are the customer’s responsibility, and your local customs team will be in touch to sort out payment.

Customs usually base the value on the price of your goodies plus shipping.

We’ll always do our best to provide the right information, but customs rules are out of our hands and may change from time to time - so it’s worth keeping this in mind before you checkout.

Sample Swatches – Free Untracked NZ Post
When ordered on their own (without any fabric), samples are sent via standard New Zealand Post. This is an untracked service and may take longer than usual to arrive. Estimated delivery times:

If you're ordering samples with fabric, they'll be included in your main parcel and sent via tracked shipping.
