Here’s one for the colder months - a beautifully dense 100% Boiled Wool, made for warmth, structure, and timeless winter garments. This fabric is made to order exclusively for us, using Australian-sourced wool yarn, and produced by a mill with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification.
At a substantial 385gsm, this heavyweight wool has a felted, compact finish with minimal fraying, making it ideal for coats, jackets, and outerwear pieces. It also lends itself well to accessories like hats, where warmth and structure are key.
Boiled wool is created by knitting or weaving wool, then washing and agitating it under heat, causing the fibres to felt and shrink together. This process creates a dense, insulating fabric with a soft, slightly textured surface and clean-cut edges.

Fabric Care: Wash on a wool or delicate cycle (cold or up to 30°C), using a mild detergent, ideally Woolmark approved. Turn garment inside out and lay flat to dry - do not tumble dry.
For hand washing: soak gently in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 10 minutes, then rinse in lukewarm followed by cold water. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Iron on a wool setting if needed.
